I’ve done so in 4K on my PS4, I’ve replayed it with a suped-up gaming PC with a friend, but I can’t say I ever expected to do it while standing in my kitchen cooking dinner. This is the third time I’ve fought jumped into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia to battle the enormous griffin plaguing the wartorn settlement of White Orchard. In the end, its simply one of the best RPGs ever made.
Its stories are deep and satisfying, unafraid to touch on themes of personal character, presenting players with choices and consequences that aren't about turning into a hero or a villain. Hack, slash, chop, blast a fireball, stir my pasta, dodge those lunging talons, taste the bolognese, chop off the monster’s head to collect my bounty. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a thoughtful, diverse, and frequently awe-inspiring adventure.
